Stories of Hope: A Morning with Steps Outreach

The Woodbridge Capital team was fortunate enough to spend a morning with the Steps Outreach Service, a program of Concern Australia supported by Woodbridge Giving charity partner Igniting Change.

Since 1985, Steps has been walking alongside young people and families experiencing homelessness in Melbourne, with an approach grounded in long-term relationships, belief and hope.

Anne Mitchell, Program Manager of Steps, joined us to share the work of the service alongside Julian, who she first met when he was 18 and experiencing homelessness. Julian generously shared his lived experience and the long road since, a powerful reminder of what consistent, caring support can make possible.
