Woodbridge Giving

Giving with intention. Creating lasting change.

investing in impact

Woodbridge Giving is our charitable foundation, established to create enduring value for all stakeholders — our investors, our employees, our communities, and the generations that follow. We believe financial success and positive social impact should go hand in hand, and that true value creation extends beyond balance sheets.

By aligning responsible investment practices with a strong commitment to meaningful social outcomes, we ensure value flows not only to investors but also to the people, places, and communities where we live and operate. Through philanthropy, community partnerships, and purposeful giving, Woodbridge Giving reinforces our broader mission: to act with integrity, invest with purpose, and contribute to a more sustainable, equitable, and thriving future for everyone.

TAKING ACCOUNTABILITY

As an investment manager, we understand that real estate is more than an asset class, it's a gateway to stable, affordable housing, and the foundation of life and family.

Women’s Property Initiatives (WPI) creates new beginnings for women and children at risk of homelessness by providing long-term, affordable homes, support networks, and advocacy. For more than 25 years, WPI has addressed housing inequality for low-income women and women-led families, offering stability and dignity through safe, high-quality housing. Today, they own and manage over 120 homes and oversee a portfolio of affordable rental properties, supporting hundreds of individuals and families each year.

By taking a housing-first approach, WPI helps break cycles of poverty, restore independence, and deliver measurable social and economic benefits. Their values of fairness, empowerment, and collaboration guide partnerships with government, philanthropy, and community organisations to create pathways to brighter futures.

Woodbridge aligns with WPI because both share a commitment to building secure foundations that enable stability, opportunity, and long-term impact.

Igniting Change is a small charity dedicated to sparking meaningful social impact for people and communities often overlooked. Rather than chasing scale, they focus on depth—listening, connecting, and amplifying the lived experiences of those facing inequality and disadvantage. They shine a light on hidden social issues, walk alongside courageous individuals and grassroots groups, and support initiatives tackling entrenched or unpopular problems others may ignore.

With strong governance, bold yet accountable leadership, and a deeply human approach, Igniting Change demonstrates that small acts of kindness and connection can build a fairer, more compassionate society.

Woodbridge aligns with Igniting Change through a shared belief in challenging the status quo—combining Woodbridge’s commitment to responsible investment with Igniting Change’s courage to address complex social issues in innovative ways.

A HOME IS A BASIC HUMAN RIGHT AND NEED.

In the context of Australia’s housing and homelessness crisis, we believe that investing in affordable housing is not just about shelter, it’s about giving people a chance to live with dignity, contribute to society, build a stable future, strengthen families, and create thriving, inclusive communities for generations.

Why housing matters

Secure housing is the cornerstone of individual and community well-being. It underpins:

  • Health outcomes
  • Workforce participation
  • Educational continuity
  • Social and economic inclusion

Without a stable home, individuals face barriers to consistent healthcare, employment, and social mobility. For children, the absence of secure housing can lock in disadvantage for generations.

Through Woodbridge Giving, we strive to continually improve lives by partnering with organisations in the housing and property sectors, thereby supporting projects and goals that deliver real and measurable impact. By providing grants, volunteering, and utilizing our business knowledge, we will support projects and initiatives that aim to address the root causes of homelessness and housing affordability and supply issues.

A COLLECTIVE COMMITMENT TO A BETTER FUTURE.

We invite all stakeholders to come on this journey with us as we invest not only in financial outcomes but in a better future for our communities and our industry.

By acting as a responsible business, Woodbridge have the unique opportunity to maximise returns for our investors while creating lasting social value. This is one of the ways in which we define long-term success for our company, our clients, and society as a whole.

We believe that true value creation comes from balancing commercial performance with positive impact — supporting projects that strengthen communities, promote sustainability, and provide opportunity. By embedding these principles, we help to build trust, reduce risk, and deliver outcomes that are resilient across cycles.

We recognise that investors, borrowers, and communities are interconnected, and long-term prosperity depends on aligning their interests. By investing with integrity, collaborating openly, and committing to ethical practices, Woodbridge is helping to shape a private credit market that delivers not only strong returns, but also measurable benefits for people, places, and future generations.
